Gavin's Seventh Month Birthday

This was an "active birthday" and is so captured in the pictures.  Gone are the days of stitting and posing (or so it appears) - Gavin is almost completely on the move!

Outer Banks - August, 2010

We were lucky enough to get to join the Estrella/Fitzgerald clan on their vacation to the Outer Banks.  Gavin was officially a beach bum at this point!  Gavin had the time of his life playing with all the other kids (and Bowser the dog) and chillin' at the beach/pool some more.  Gavin was so close to crawling he could taste it, and starting pulling himself up to standing on his own!  Special thanks to the Estrellas/Fitzgeralds - we had a blast!!!

The tide was doing some crazy things and the beach was actually "flooded" - huge pools of water and even a current remained after the tide receded!  Never saw anything like it!

 (After the weekend, Daddy had to go back to work but Mommy and Gavin wanted more play time at the beach with the Estrella/Fitzgerald clan, so we stayed!  But Daddy was missed...)

Maya wants her car back and Gavin wasn't going down without a fight!  He's a scrappy little guy!

Gavin LOVED getting to know Bowser.  Bowser was very sweet with him and intrigued as well.
