Gavin's Sixth Month Birthday

Our little man is Six Months Old!  How the time has flown.  Gavin had a lot of fun during his birthday and showing off all his smiles and cute expressions for the camera.

Gavin's Sixth Month

Cape Cod - July 2010 

This was Gavin's first trip to the beach and he had so much fun with Mimi, Poppy, Uncle Ken and Aunt Jessie (and Mommy and Daddy)!  We quickly discovered it was just a tad different going to the beach with a baby, but we wouldn't trade it for the world!  It was the best thing in the world to have Gavin enjoy the beach with us - he LOVES the water.  The sand was a bit of a love-hate relationship (he loved it and tried to put it in his mouth immediately, and sort of hated the consequential sand in his mouth when he was successful...so Gavin was confined to the beach blanket or water as much as possible).  It was also time for him to try his first solids!  He literally was lunging at the spoon...

"Someone's a bit excited for Gavin to try his rice cereal!"

"Give it now, Mom!  Step on it!"

"Mmmmmm!"

"I am the rice cereal eating champion of the world!"

"Oh oh, now Daddy is going to try to feed me.  Here, let me help you Daddy!"

"This cereal stuff is great - why have you guys been holding out on me?"

"More, please!"

"All done!  Thanks, Mommy and Daddy - that was DEE-lish!"

"Mommy and Daddy forgot my pacifier clip at home so I made sure to drop it in the sand as much as possible...and then they got 'creative...'  They totally cramped my style with the ladies at the beach."

"The ocean is awesome, isn't it Mommy!"

"Why is the ocean chasing after me, Mommy?"

"Phew, Mommy - you saved me."

All refreshed and time for more fun in the beach hut!
